1.1. This Policy describes what personal data EchoTip (echotip.app) collects, how it is used, stored and protected.
1.2. By using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Policy.
1.3. This Policy has been prepared in compliance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 "On Personal Data" of the Russian Federation.
At registration: - Email address - Username (nickname) - Password hash (passwords are never stored in plain text)
During use of the Service: - Donation data: donor name, amount, message, date - Technical data: IP address, browser type, session times - Usage data: features of the Platform used
Data provided voluntarily by the Streamer: - Page images (avatar, background, banner) - Page description - Overlay settings
Payment data: EchoTip does not collect or store card details. Payment data is processed exclusively by YooKassa under its own privacy policy. Streamer YooKassa access tokens are stored encrypted and are not accessible to third parties.
Collected data is used to: - register and authenticate Users; - display donation notifications on the stream; - generate TTS narration (message text is sent to Google Cloud TTS or ElevenLabs - see Third-Party Services); - provide technical support; - improve the Service; - send account-related notifications.
We do not use your data for marketing communications without your explicit consent.
We do not sell personal data. Data may be shared to the extent necessary for the Service to function:

Audio files (uploaded voice messages and TTS) are deleted automatically 5 hours after creation.
5.1. We apply technical security measures: encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS), password hashing, and access controls.
5.2. Despite these measures, EchoTip cannot guarantee absolute protection of data from unauthorised access.
You have the right to: - Access information about data we hold about you; - Correct inaccurate data; - Delete your data - by sending a request to [email protected]; - Object to the processing of your data.
Requests are processed within 30 days.
Upon account deletion, personal data is removed from active databases within 30 days. Aggregated anonymous data may be retained for analytics.
Cookie usage is described in a separate Cookie Policy.
We notify Users of changes via the Website. The date of the last update is shown in the document header.
9.1. EchoTip applies technical safeguards (see Section 5) but user data security also depends on the user. We recommend:
- using a unique strong password (12+ characters, mixing digits and special characters); do not reuse the password on other sites; - not sharing sign-in credentials with anyone, including persons claiming to be "support" (we never ask for your password); - signing out on shared devices via the "Log out" button; - verifying that the address bar shows echotip.app (not a look-alike) before entering credentials; - using up-to-date browser and operating system versions.
9.2. If you suspect your account has been compromised, change your password immediately and notify [email protected].
