EchoTip integrates a number of third-party services to deliver its functionality. Each service, the data shared with it, and EchoTip's disclaimers are described below.
Provider: @fawazahmed0/currency-api, hosted on jsDelivr CDN Repository: github.com/fawazahmed0/exchange-api When used: when displaying donation amounts in multiple currencies and for statistics conversion Update frequency: data is updated at the source once per day; EchoTip caches it for up to 1 hour Data shared: none - data is fetched publicly without transmitting any user information
Exchange rates are provided for informational purposes only. EchoTip does not
guarantee their accuracy, timeliness or correspondence to market rates. The
provider is an independent open-source project with no commercial backing or
availability guarantees. Rates do not constitute financial advice. EchoTip is
not liable for any losses arising from discrepancies between displayed and
actual exchange rates.
Provider: Google LLC Privacy policy: cloud.google.com/terms/cloud-privacy-notice When used: for every donation with a text message - to generate voice narration (WaveNet voices) Data shared: donation message text, selected language Result storage: the generated audio file is stored on EchoTip's servers for no more than 5 hours, then deleted automatically
Message text is processed by Google's servers in accordance with Google Cloud's
privacy policy. Do not include personal data in messages that you would not want
shared with third parties. EchoTip is not liable for Google's data processing.
Provider: ElevenLabs, Inc. Privacy policy: elevenlabs.io/privacy When used: only when the Streamer has enabled "Show premium voices" in the page settings and the Donor selects a premium voice Data shared: donation message text Result storage: audio file stored for no more than 5 hours
Same as Google TTS. This feature is optional and is enabled solely at the
Streamer's discretion.
Provider: Google LLC Terms: developers.google.com/youtube/terms/api-services-terms-of-service When used: when a Donor searches for a video and when video is played in the OBS overlay Data shared: search query; URL of the selected video
Video playback uses the embedded YouTube player (domain youtube-nocookie.com) to minimise data collection. During playback, YouTube (Google) may collect data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
EchoTip is not liable for the availability, content or copyright status of
YouTube videos. The video donation feature is only available if the Streamer
has enabled it. Use of the YouTube API is governed by Google's and YouTube's
terms of service.
Provider: Cloudflare, Inc. Privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy When used: to store audio files - donor voice messages and TTS files Data shared: audio files Retention: all files are deleted automatically after 5 hours
Provider: YooMoney LLC (NCO) Website: yookassa.ru When used: to process donations from Donors to Streamers - only when the Streamer has independently registered a YooKassa account and connected it to their page Data shared: EchoTip sends YooKassa the payment session parameters (amount, currency, description) to initiate a payment. Card details are entered directly on the YooKassa payment form and are never accessible to EchoTip.
Note. EchoTip provides a software integration with YooKassa. EchoTip is
not a party to payment transactions, does not store card data and has no
access to Donor funds. Donor funds go **directly to the Streamer's YooKassa
account**. All payment transactions are governed by the agreement between the
Streamer and YooKassa, and by YooKassa's terms for users. Payment complaints
should be addressed to the Streamer or to YooKassa directly.
EchoTip uses cloud infrastructure to operate the Service. Hosting providers process technical data (IP addresses, logs) in accordance with their own privacy policies.
